The Desert Sessions, organized by two members of Queens of the Stone Age, gathers all sorts of popular musicians in the middle of the the desert to record an album. Powdered Wig Machine has PJ Harvey singing. It's a throwaway pop song that's still so catchy it ends up in overplay.
