I've given La Forêt a few good listens and most of it hasn't grabbed me. But Bog People is a seriously good Xiu Xiu song. It's got all the Xiu Xiu hallmarks: an unusual arrangement, disturbing lyric, and melodramatic singing. But it also manages to be approachable and not too abrasive for all that.
